A massive congratulations to one of our Year 6 pupils, Summer, who won 2nd prize in her category in an art competition. The national competition was organised by the charity 'Show Racism the Red Card' and entries were received from school children all over the country. The charity campaigns to educate against racism and uses famous footballers to help get their message across. Summer designed a poster with her own anti-racism message which really impressed the judges and won her a prize. All of the entries were of a very high standard. The awards were held at Liverpool Football Club and Summer, attending with her parents, was the only local pupil to win a prize! So as well as representing our school she was also representing our city! Amongst other great prizes Summer won an Everton shirt which was presented by Robbie Fowler and Howard Gale as well as players from Everton's under 21's footballers. Well done Summer!
