The Children’s University Ceremony

The Children’s University

St Michael in the Hamlet Community Primary School is proud to be a learning destination for The Children’s University. All pupils in KS1 and KS2 are registered by the school. This year we had 66 graduates, with many achieving higher level awards. The ceremony took place at Mountford Hall, Liverpool University. Family and friends joined with us to celebrate the achievements of our pupils. Julie McGann from School Improvement Liverpool gave the main speech. She praised our school for the wide variety of after school activities that we provide.

Hollie Mallon, the Junior Lord Mayor for Liverpool, gained the highest level in Liverpool out of all pupils gaining a Children’s University award. Well done to Holly!

This was our 7th ceremony and it was a pleasure to see pupils and parents sharing in everyone’s success. Thank you to all staff, children and parents for helping to make today such a special day for our graduates.
