Family Egg Drop Challenge
We had a great time, testing the containers we had built to keep our eggs safe. Over one hundred children and their families took part. There were some very inventive ways of cushioning each egg’s fall; popcorn, rice crispies, balloons, pompoms and even jelly. Nearly all the eggs survived.
Later in the day, Tim Keech, a STEM Ambassador, worked with some of our Year 5 children, investigating more aspects of gravity. Again, these children enjoyed a really interactive, hands on session.
Thank you and well done to everyone involved!
