Belly Breathing

Some of our families have asked about the ‘Belly Breathing’ we have been doing this week as part of ‘Well Wednesday’. Here is a link

You can help an upset child slow their breathing down by running a finger round the side of a rectangular object, for example a book. You breathe in as the finger draws up the side of the rectangle, hold as the finger draws along the top of the rectangle, breathe out as the finger draws down the other side of the book and pause again as the finger draws along the bottom of the rectangle.
